Your body isn't the problem. Your life is just unlike anyone else's.
Hormone health, gut health, and nervous system support built for yachties who live and work where the usual advice simply doesn't apply.
You're not burnt out. You're running on fumes in a system that was never designed to keep yacht crew healthy.
You work 14+ hour days, seven days a week, mid-charter. You cross time zones between seasons. You sleep in a cabin the size of a wardrobe, eat whatever the chef sends down to the crew mess, and perform to a standard most people couldn't sustain for a week, let alone a season.
And then someone tells you to "manage your stress" and "eat more vegetables."
Right.
The generic health advice that works for a woman with a normal working day, a full kitchen, and eight hours of sleep in her own bed doesn't translate to yacht life. Not even close. The patterns I work with, why your energy crashes mid-charter, why your cycle has gone haywire, why you bloat on every trip, why you come off rotation and still feel wrecked, these aren't willpower problems. They're biology responding to an extreme environment.
I work with yachties who are done being told they're fine.
There are four patterns behind why yachties feel the way they do
Most health content for yacht crew gives you a list of symptoms and a generic fix. This isn't that. There are four specific patterns that show up again and again in women working on superyachts, each one driven by different biology, each one needing a different approach.
Eight questions. Five minutes. Your personalised breakdown lands in your inbox.
Built for yacht crew, because the standard advice doesn't apply.
I'm Josie. I'm a Nutritional Therapist, and I have lived through PMS, PMDD, and endometriosis, managing my own health while working in an industry that doesn't slow down for any of it.
I started The Healthy Crew Coach because the yachting world has a specific set of health problems that nobody in mainstream wellness is addressing. The chef-controlled galley that removes your autonomy over what you eat. The cabin that gives you no privacy for a morning routine. The season that swings from Med to Caribbean with no real recovery in between. The refit periods where you finally have time, and your body chooses that exact moment to fall apart.
As a Nutritional Therapist working specifically with yacht crew, I work with your actual situation, not a standard life. That means your hormones, your gut, and your nervous system, looked at through the lens of what your days actually look like.

A few things yachties ask before booking
-
Yes. The quiz takes five minutes and your breakdown lands in your inbox to read whenever you have a moment, between charters, on anchor, or in your bunk at the end of a long day. If you want to go deeper, the Root Cause Review is easily booked around your schedule: a port day, a shorter trip, or between rotations. The work fits around yacht life, not the other way around.

This is the thing I hear most often, and it's exactly why THCC exists. We work with your actual situation, including a chef-controlled galley, crew mess snack cupboards, and provisioning that depends on someone else's choices. The approach isn't about food perfection. It's about understanding what your body is actually responding to, and what levers you do have.
-
No. Most yachties arrive with a long list of symptoms and no clear thread connecting them. Finding that thread is the whole point of the Root Cause Review.
-
Most yacht crew wellness content is fitness-focused or generic. As a Nutritional Therapist, I work specifically with hormones, gut health, and nervous system regulation, the three systems most disrupted by life on board, using a root-cause approach rather than symptom management. There's no protocol handed to everyone. It's built around you.
Still not sure where to start?
The quiz is free and takes five minutes. It won't tell you to eat more kale or download a meditation app. It'll tell you which of four specific patterns is likely driving your symptoms and what that actually means for someone living your kind of life.
